Terms of use
Terms for using Ligan, our account features, and community areas.
1. About the service and these terms
Ligan is a digital service for Swedish elite football with news, standings, fixtures, statistics, team and player profiles, live updates, transfers, historical data, and community features. These terms apply when you visit the service, create an account, use comments, or otherwise use the app's features.
By using Ligan, you accept these terms. If you do not accept the terms, you must not use the service. For personal data, our privacy policy also applies.
2. Permitted use
You may use Ligan for private, non-commercial use and in accordance with applicable law. It is not permitted to misuse the service, bypass security features, attempt unauthorized access, overload infrastructure, or systematically collect content through automated scraping, bots, or similar methods without our explicit permission.
You may not use the service to distribute malicious code, misleading identities, spam, or other content or behavior that disrupts the service or other users' experience.
3. Account and sign-in
Some features require an account, for example settings, favorite teams, and comments. When creating an account, the information you provide must be accurate and up to date. You are responsible for protecting your sign-in credentials and for activity that occurs through your account.
Sign-in may be offered through email/password and external identity providers such as Google and Microsoft. If you use external sign-in, the relevant provider's terms and privacy information also apply.
We may limit, suspend, or delete accounts that are used in violation of these terms, create security risks, or misuse community features.
4. Comments, forum, and moderation
When you publish comments or forum posts, you are responsible for ensuring the content is lawful, relevant, and not abusive, threatening, misleading, spam-like, or otherwise inappropriate. You may not publish material that infringes on others' rights.
Ligan uses moderation to protect the community. Comments may be reviewed automatically and manually. Violations may lead to content being blocked or removed, warnings being registered, or commenting privileges being suspended. A verified email address may be required to publish comments.
By publishing content, you grant Ligan a non-exclusive right to display, store, moderate, and administer the content within the service to the extent needed for operations, security, and community management.
5. Content, data sources, and informational nature
Ligan compiles information from internal data processes, synchronized data sources, and external editorial sources. Fixture data, standings, player details, transfers, and other statistics may be updated afterwards when source data is corrected or supplemented.
Odds, statistics, form data, lineups, and similar information are for informational purposes only and do not constitute advice, guarantees, or encouragement to bet or make other decisions.
6. Intellectual property
The service's design, structure, texts, compilations, graphics, and custom-developed features belong to Ligan or are used under applicable rights. Trademarks, club names, logos, images, and other third-party material remain the property of their respective rights holders.
You may not copy, sell, license, republish, or systematically reuse substantial parts of the service without permission, except as required by mandatory law or expressly allowed in the service.
7. Availability and changes
We strive to keep Ligan available and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure operation. Features may be changed, paused, or removed without prior notice when needed for development, security, technical reasons, or editorial priorities.
8. Limitation of liability
Ligan is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, or decisions made based on information in the service. This applies to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law, for example in cases of intent or gross negligence where such limitation is not permitted.
9. Governing law
These terms shall be interpreted under Swedish law. If a dispute arises, it should first be attempted to be resolved by contacting us. If the dispute cannot be resolved that way, it shall be decided by a competent Swedish court unless mandatory consumer protection rules state otherwise.
10. Contact and updates
Questions about these terms or use of the service can be sent through our contact page. We may update these terms as the service evolves or legal requirements change. The latest version is always published here.
