About us
Ligan brings Swedish elite football together in one cohesive experience with fixtures, standings, player and team profiles, live coverage, news, transfers, and history.
What Ligan is
Ligan is built for supporters, followers, and stats-minded users who want to follow Swedish elite football without jumping between multiple websites and apps. The service brings the current season together in one hub where fixtures, standings, profiles, news, and deeper statistics connect in one place.
The focus is on Allsvenskan, Superettan, and Svenska Cupen. The goal is to make both the overview and the details clear, whether you want to see the next round, follow a specific club, compare players, or go back to previous seasons.
What you find in the app
Landing pages collect standings context, current fixtures, top scorers, transfers, and news for each league. From there you can move into team profiles, player profiles, referee profiles, stats sections, fixture pages, live pages, and archive pages for previous seasons.
On fixture pages, we aim to provide a quick complete view with fixture facts, results, live context, lineups, and related content when available. In stats areas, you can compare teams, players, and referees across multiple metrics instead of just a simple table row.
Personal features and community
If you create an account, you can save favorite teams, adjust your display name, and use community features such as comments and team forums. The account also ties together personal shortcuts and certain security and moderation functions in the app.
We want discussions to be useful for more than just the loudest users, so we work with verification, reporting, and moderation to keep the community readable and safe over time.
How content is built
Ligan combines internal views and compilations with synchronized data sources for fixtures, standings, squads, players, referees, and transfers. That means statistics and fixture data may be updated afterwards when source data is corrected, completed, or changed after kickoff.
The live system updates ongoing fixtures separately from regular page-data fetching so fixture state and score can change faster than the rest of the page content. At the same time, archives, season history, and stable profile pages remain available for users who want longer trends, not just the next event.
Our ambition
We want to build a faster, more coherent football hub for Swedish elite football where it is easy to move between news, live, standings, profiles, and stats without losing context. The service evolves continuously and features, coverage, and data sources may change as the app improves.

We work to keep information clear, fast, and useful, but sports data, profiles, and fixture information can change or be updated afterwards. If you see something missing or needing correction, your feedback helps us improve the service.
We also try to be clear about what exists in the app today: the contact form is protected against spam, accounts can be managed in settings, and some features require sign-in or verified email to work fully.
